This Year-End, Half of Every Donation Goes to the Network
An example gift of 100,000 sats, in two halves.
The network's half, 50,000 sats, is for the communities: kept in a wallet anyone can check on the Tracker, paid out after 31 December. It is in three pots.
My First Bitcoin's half, 50,000 sats, is for its own work: curriculum, educator training, the app, and every cost of running the fund.
Top 5 pot: ranks 1 to 5 share 20,000 = 5 × 4,000 each.
Top 20 pot: ranks 1 to 20 share 20,000 = 20 × 1,000 each.
Top 80 pot: ranks 1 to 80 share 10,000 = 80 × 125 each.
What Each Community Gets: One column per community. Everyone in the top 80 gets 125, the top 20 get 1,000 more, and the top 5 get 4,000 more.
Each colour is one pot: the Top 80 pot, 125 each, at the foot of all 80 columns; the Top 20 pot, 1,000 each, on it over ranks 1 to 20; the Top 5 pot, 4,000 each, on top over ranks 1 to 5.
Ranks 1 to 5: 5,125 sats each (Top 5 4,000 + Top 20 1,000 + Top 80 125 = 5,125).
Ranks 6 to 20: 1,125 sats each (Top 20 1,000 + Top 80 125 = 1,125).
Ranks 21 to 80: 125 sats each (Top 80 125 = 125).
Columns by community rank in the network, 2026 leaderboard.
Example with 80 communities. 1 BTC = 100,000,000 sats.
